Location
I took this photo in my back yard, where the whole litter was playing around.Time
It was in the afternoon, when the sun was not too high.Lighting
There was a bit of sun through the clouds, but overall was an overcast day.Equipment
I used a Sony A700 and a 70-200mm G-lens F2.8. No flash, no tripod.Inspiration
I love taking pictures of dogs, an of puppys in particular. They are pure and cannot be directed. That makes it more complicated than taking shots of adult dogs. Most of the time when you are on your belly, ready to take that awesome picture, the pup spots you and runs straight at you :-). But this time I was lucky and the puppy gave a show that I enjoyed very much.Editing
I did not do too much post-processing, just a little adjustment of the colors in PS.In my camera bag
At the moment I work with a Sony A9, a 70-200mm F2.8 G-lens, a 90mmm F2.8 macro prime lens, a 50mm F1.8 prime lens. 2 Nissin flashlights and a trigger for strobist photography, and a tripod.Feedback
I used shutter speed preference because the pups are almost never standing still. Try to be as far away from the puppy as possible and zoom in all the way for a nice bokeh and not trigger the puppy to run towards you. And: be patient! :-)
