Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small New England town in Connecticut. There is a path that leads to a pond and in the fall it's fun to walk.

Time

This was fall, golden hour. My favorite time of day when everything is winding down.

Lighting

I originally wanted to put the red shoes in the pond, but they didn't look quite right.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS -1D Mark II

Inspiration

I love the fall weather and had been rummaging our attic for Halloween decorations when I came across the witches hat. I immediately thought of the red high heels.

Editing

Yes, I warmed it up slightly to make the colors pop and I sharpened the image.

In my camera bag

My beast, the Canon EOS 1D Mark II that I bought used, Canon Rebel T2i, a macro lense and an 85mm.
