Four days of continuous snowfall has left Utah covered in a thick blanket of snow, with over 5 feet in the mountains from this storm!⁣

I had been watching the weather closely, looking for breaks in the storm system. Finally on the 3rd day, the clouds began to thin and low pressure pushed them a little lower in elevation, so I figured this was the chance I was waiting for. Rushing up to the top of the mountain in time to watch the sun retire for the evening.⁣

It was magical to watch ice particles in the air interact with the sun slicing through the thinning clouds, and swirling around the tops of the trees flowing over a ridge-line.
