Thank you Maja for having good time - and thank you for all my friends , especially Karolina N. and Ola B., but also Natalia and Adas, it was great fun and one of best days of my life, and favorite sessions. we were creating, having fun and relaxing at same time, some magical form of spending time. hope to see you all again some day.

Behind The Lens

Location

Kraków, Kazimierz district . cafe "Kraina szeptów" it means "land of the whispers" , place always empty at day, but full of people in the evening

Time

morning, about 10-11 o clock , right after opening cafeterie

Lighting

just natural soft light, from large wall of building in front of this window, which reflects sun light perfectly for my needs .

Equipment

tripod, hasselblad 500 C/M , zeiss 80 T* , not sure about negative, most probably one of my favorite Fuji acros 100 or HP5-400

Inspiration

Maja live houndreds kilometers from Cracow, but had some business in Cracow and wish to go for a coffe with me, get few shots , so she came by train and we spend an hour or two on very happy discussions - and that is all , at that day many of my friends and coleagues also visit me, stay, help in making photos or pose - then either go, or stay for afterparty :) it was great day.

Editing

not much, it is developed film, some contrast and brightness adjusted, dust and scratch removed.

In my camera bag

6x6 camera, but on that day I had many cameras :) 4x5 large format, 6x6 Hasselblad, Stereoscopic Sputnik 6x6 x2 and my friends used digital cameras to make backstage.I had also two suitcases of gadgets , blends etc. I knew, Maja had very limited time, She came to Cracow 350km just for few hours of photos and had to go back same day,

Feedback

just stay smiled and happy, and search for positive energy in world, such energy is magnetic, and attract good events... Natural found light is always better than artificial, but if you have very limited time and do not want to use artificial light - you need to know what to expect, check weather cast , observe place at particular hour... ask for permissions if needed. for example I made before this photo research few days before session, ask manager of cafeterie, and I had been there, and made as usual notes about light, so I knew exactly where soft light is most attractive.
