Location
Moraine Lake, one of the iconic views of the Canadian Rockies, one of the best views you can have in your life!Time
This was early in the morning, in summer; sunrise was not so great, but when the daylight jumped out there was almost one hour of show!Lighting
Nothing of special in this specific case, I was only lucky (at my third attempt) to find a great situation!Equipment
This was taken with a Fujifilm Xt-3with the Fujinon 16 mm f/1.4, everything mounted on a Rollei Solid Alpha Mark II tripod. Nothing else gear!Inspiration
This is one of the best scenes of the intere area, I took some nocturnal shot, but this morning light was incredibly beautiful (I tried it thre times, but no light the other times I slept there, otherwise the parks close very soon and the road is closed to trafic).Editing
The post-editing of this shot is very very basic, only a few arrangements of lights and shadows, the regulation of white balance and let's go!In my camera bag
In my F-Stop Tilopa today there's a nice Sony ML system (a7r3) with lenses from wide to megazoom!Feedback
The spot is one of the most known, Moraine Lake is closed to traffic when the parks are full for avoid the crowd so you have to go with the bus shuttles from Lake Louise Town or go early in the morning; with a bit of luck you can be there before sunset to spot the last lights, but it always depends from the number of cars in the parking lot. Out of summer the road is closed (due to snow).
