Location
I took this photo in Washago Ontario Canada at the Black River. Juvenile Trumpeter Swan.Time
The time was around 2:20 pmLighting
It was a sunny day, I used a tulip lens hood and adjusted the lighting.Equipment
I used a Canon 70D camera with a 70-300 zoom lens.Inspiration
Looking down on the swan the pink in it’s beautiful beak showed up so well against its white feathers.Editing
I did sharpen slightly, denoised slightly and added a bit of contrast. In my camera bag
Camera, 70-300 zoom, 70-400 telephoto lens, macro lens and backup battery. Lens cleaner and I always a tripod in the car.Feedback
I took this shot free hand so you need a steady hand, the sun was above me and slightly behind me. Be aware of your surroundings and how the light is hitting your subject.
