Excellent photo. Looks like a terrific spot for photos and kayaking!! Love the composition of this.

Location
The picture was taken at LLyn Padarn LLanberis North Wales a couple of miles from my home. I stumbled across the tree a few years back and I've and so much fun picturing it at different times of the and different times of day and weather etc as I'm sure many others have.Time
I took the picture early morning on a rather gloomy day, I was itching to try out a new lens and filter to see how they'd perform on long exposure.Lighting
The sky was dull and overcast, we see a lot of this kind of weather all year round but on long exposures and getting cloud movement it does help.Equipment
I used a Canon 600d with a canon 10-18mm lens fitted with a 1000ND filter (SRB) and tripod.Inspiration
Snowdonia is a very beautiful part of the world and I feel privileged to live here, the whole area is just begging to be photographed, mountains lakes and a massive coast line, what more could you want?Editing
Not a great deal of post processing, just the basics, a big fan of PS express, gives you a chance to do a very quick edit whilst your on the go and give you an idea of your final image. In my camera bag
I usually have a Canon 600d lens wise Samyang 14mm fantastic for night work, a Canon 10-18mm wide angle fantastic for filtering and a Canon EF50mm great little budget lens for portrait work, I never leave home with out my IPhone 6 the camera on these things is amazing.Feedback
I don't think I'm experienced enough to give to much advice, just enjoy what your doing, forget about rules and do your own thing, learn from your viewbug peers its a fantastic community.
