Behind The Lens

Location

This is the marble stairway located in the lobby of the Kimon Hotel in Athens Greece.

Time

I took this photo as I was on my way down to check out of the hotel. It was in May of 2015 at around 2:00pm.

Lighting

The lighting at the bottom of the stair case was extremely bright so I did post processing to fix this.

Equipment

This was shot with my Olympus OM-D E-M10

Inspiration

I love spiral Staircases and this one was awesome! I loved the combination of the wood railing with the marble steps and the medal posts.

Editing

I increased the contrast and adjusted the color Hue/Saturation.

In my camera bag

My Olympus OM-D E-M10 along with the 4 different lenses that I use. My Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60 mm 1:2.8 Macro, Olympus Digital 40-150mm 1:4-5.6 R, Olympus Digital 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 and Olympus 75-300mm 1:4.8-6.7 II. I also always carry my small crystal ball. I love taking photo's with my crystal ball.

Feedback

This photo was an impulse photo. My advise would be to have your camera with you as much as possible to be able to capture impulse photo's and one of a kind moments.
