Well done, it's a great shot, I love the symmetry and it also tells a story.

Location
The photo was taken on the decking of our home in Upwey , Victoria, Australia. We have numerous species of birds that visit our garden.Time
Taken at 7:40am.Lighting
The birds were under a canopy and it was raining. This deepens the colours of the vegetation behind it and brings out the black and white birds.Equipment
I rarely use a flash or tripod for wildlife. I find I miss too many shots. Canon 7D Mark 11, 100-400 IS 11 USMInspiration
The lighting conditions had great depth of tone and colour. The postures are telling a story of the interaction of the female and her young. The strong contrast of the black and white birds grabs your attention.Editing
Most of my post-processing is done with Lightroom Classic. I used a subject mask, lifting clarity to 12 and sharpness to 40. I also applied Sharpening full size using the Raya Pro add-on in Photoshop. This is my go-to sharpening App and although I did not use it this time I use Imagonomic - Noiswork for noise control. In my camera bag
I'm a wildlife artist and Photographer. On safari, I carry 3 cameras, Canon R6 7D Mark 11, 100-400 IS 11 USM, Canon 7D Mark 11, 24-105 IS USM, 1.4 Multiplier, and a Panasonic DMC-TZ110 for times when being quiet is required, subjects are very close or I want to grab some impromptu video. Laptop, portable hard drives, cables, chargers, and spare batteries. Cards. are chosen to reflect the camera upload speed 170mbs and 125 gig capacity. lense and camera brushes and cleaners.Feedback
When I am at home or I am on safari my cameras are ready for action all the time. My wife and I live on a block covered in trees, bird-attracting shrubs, and strategically placed bird baths. We are visited by 10 species of parrots and a total of around 80 species of birds. When I am on safari our camps and lodges have been visited by a vast number of species.
