Behind The Lens

Location

I made this photo in cave creek Arizona it is one of our beautiful sunsets.

Time

This was just at sunset I sat for 2 hours capturing the sunset at many different times.

Lighting

The time I began to sit and make photos was just about 5 pm the at first the sun was way to bright so I was getting way too much sunlight and the colors were incredible and really warm… as time went on the lighting changed the temperature dropped a bit and I was able to make this awesome photo…

Equipment

I do not usually use a tripod but I was setting out to capture the best sunset…. I used my Telephoto lens … no flash I made the photo on the Aperture setting

Inspiration

My photography Teacher Jerry Sieve

Editing

I honestly do not remember if I had to enhance anything on this photo. I do know I did have it printed on Elaine paper and the photo is still vibrant and beautiful after all these years :)

In my camera bag

My Nikon D 3500 and my telephoto Lens .

Feedback

Start when the light is still too harsh and be patient… some famous old photographer guy said your first 10,000 photos are not great… be patient I promise you will be happy with the results!
