Location
This photo was taken in Etosha National Park in Namibia, near a waterhole.Time
In the night, after waiting about 3 or 4 hours an elephant came from the bush, alone in the dark. It was magic and the elephant seemed to wait and pose for my shot.Lighting
The light source was made of two enormous orange sodium lamps; a terrible light for a normal scene, but in this case I was lucky to have such a strong light.Equipment
I used a Canon eos 20D with a trippd and a 200 mm f2.8 L fixed lensInspiration
The bush, the nature, the dark night were all key elemens that inspired me.Editing
Only a normal converson to b/w with a raw conversion software. In my camera bag
Usually i have a reflex (canon eos 6D II in this moment) a all around lens (24-70 f2.8), a prime lens (usually a 50 or 85 mm) and... an original polaroid SX-70Feedback
Be patient and listen to the nature!
