This is an incredible shot. I love how your MUA brought in flecks of gold in the pain and on the lips it really brings out your models eyes.

Location
This photograph was shot at a creative photo session, at a local beauty saloon in Timisoara, Romania.Time
The shot was taken during early evening.Lighting
We used artificial light, carefully positioned to make the most out of the portrait - in terms of highlights and shadows.Equipment
I was always using my Nikon D5200 back then, hand held. In this photograph i mounted the 50-200mm Nikkor lens - one of my favorites for its versatility. We had a entry level external flash as the primary light source, mounted on a stand.Inspiration
The general concept had been in my head for some time, wanting to take a mysterious and dark beauty portrait, somehow with a fantastic or mythical vibe. When finding inspiration, I search in my own passions and subjects which make my imagination fly. My model Milena and make-up artist Andra Durnea really brought things to another level on the physical plane, as the overall look went beyond my expectations.Editing
As the photograph was well lit, I only made minor adjustments to the light, focusing more on the softness of the shadows, the contrast areas and the color tones. In my camera bag
Nowadays I carry to the main photo sessions my D800E Nikon with me, with a Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 lense + the very handy 50mm 1.8 lense. When I just get out to have some fun exploring locations or traveling lightly, I take a Sony RX100V with me, very light and small, yet capable of beautiful images.Feedback
I advise you to explore your fantasies and themes which really touch you at some core level. Then let yourself create a story, an image or something that brings to life that feeling. Something that would let others also perceive it and feel it. On a more practical side, it is also inspiring for me to look into different other media forms or even story telling to get my imagination going. And never underestimate other creatives with whom you collaborate, as models, MUA, hairstylists, designers and so on can greatly enhance your vision and help you give it life.
