Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my front yard In Texas.

Time

In the early morning when this little guys are still cold and slow I’m sitting outside next to a bush where they show up to warm up in the morning sun.

Lighting

Lightings are all natural

Equipment

I used my Nikon D850 with nikkor 105mm macro lens hand held

Inspiration

I never seen a dragonfly with red eyes so I had to take some photos of him ????

Editing

In post processing I only adjusted the high lights

In my camera bag

Everything I have ???? From macro lens till 300mm and of course my fav 85mm lens. Few flashlights.

Feedback

If you want to take photos of dragonflies get a light blue shirt (I found out they found it attractive ????) and sit done somewhere near water , be patient they will come.
