Unable to leave home due to quarantine, I was observing nature from my balcony and I noticed that every time it rained, this Steely-vented Hummingbird, (Saucerottia saucerottei), perched on this twig to take a bath. I was fascinated by its ritual. I had to learn to anticipate its movements and shoot many times to get just the right moment when the hummingbird shakes off excess water.
