Last week I was lucky to finally make the trip across to the isolated archipelago of St Kilda.
Located 40 miles west-northwest of North Uist in the Atlantic Ocean, these are the most westerly islands of the Scottish Outer Hebrides and is a haven for sea birds.
This image captures the dramatic island of Boreray where the skies were full of circling gannets.
The jagged & mysterious peaks represented a landscape which would not be out of place in the movie Jurassic World.
