Behind The Lens

Location

In a natural reserve in the coastal area in the Netherlands called 'Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen'.

Time

I made the photo in the morning when the light was still soft.

Lighting

It's a shady location, so not much direct sunlight. The sunlight that came through the trees was soft because of the time of day.

Equipment

Sony A99II, Tamron 70-200mm f2.8.

Inspiration

I liked the fact that one of the four mushrooms fell down while the rest was still standing.

Editing

I post processed in Lightroom. I've put some focus on the mushrooms by darkening the surroundings.

In my camera bag

A7III, Tamron 70-200mm f2.8, Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 and Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro.

Feedback

Take a moment to find the most interesting angle. Talked your time, they won't walk away. Choose a low viewpoint to create more depth in your photos.
