In New Zealand, contrary to the deciduous trees of northern Eurasia and America, the foliage of the trees do not turn red and orange in the autumn, and thus you either add to foliage post processing, or as the Europeans did - import tree species from home that turn red and orange in autumn. This is very apparent in autumn, as in the national parks you will only see a yellowish tint to some trees. Only where the parks border human settlements, or around buildings within them, will you find deciduous trees from Europe stand out like beacons of alien species.
