Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Moscow. Everyone who was at the World Cup, which was held in Moscow, may have been on Nikolskaya Street, which is always hung with garlands. It was popular with fans. But in this shot there is another street called Stoleshnikov Lane. This is a pedestrian street.

Time

It was an ordinary sunny day. Usually there are always a lot of people there.

Lighting

The lane is in the shade, and the sun shone on the top that day. And it illuminated the hanging lamps. There is a good contrast between the sky and the sidewalk.

Equipment

This was shot on Nikon D7000 with wide angle lens Tokina 12-24/4

Inspiration

I saw this crazy work of someone! Hanging so many lamps over our heads and making each one shine seemed extraordinary to me, and I'm sure many people liked this picture. This street staying in the same shape in present. And of course it attracts many tourists, who want to see it.

Editing

I did just a basic development. Crop and color correction

In my camera bag

Well, it depend on my vision. One day I can go just with one lens 50mm 1:2 But usually I take with me 35mm 1:1.4 and 80-200 2,8

Feedback

My advice is to shoot a lot and analyze. What could have been done better? Why am I taking this shot? What do I want viewers to see in this photo? And, of course, do not just focus on yourself, but watch a lot of professionals photographs, and most importantly, try to understand how this is done.
