Costa Rica

A beautiful fly-by of a species nearing extinction due to human activities like hunting, pet trade and habitat loss.
Natural nesting holes have gotten hard to come by for this species and as humans mostly don't care to set up nesting boxes, they are unable to reproduce. Fortunately in Costa Rica, a country known for it's excellence in conservation, they are steadily increasing in population due to conservation efforts.
