This was taken in the late afternoon / early evening at around 4:30pm - it had been raining on-and-off all day that day

Lighting

I had a large number of light sources to contend with and so opted for a shot which allowed for the most details to be discernible - in this case I was unable to capture the clouds in the sky properly in order to capture everything else

Inspiration

I was inspired to try to capture the sense of ordinary everyday people slowly purchasing essential food ingredients whilst simultaneously urgently seeking shelter from a day of truly miserable weather!

I like to travel light - usually; A robust mini-tripod, a specific lens-cleaning bandana, and my Sony DSC compact SLR Camera
