The photo was shot in my garden in Omaha Nebraska. I'm a self-taught photographer so jump at the chance to photograph something I haven't yet.Time
Probably one of my luckiest shots. I happen to be working in the garden in the evening around the golden hour when I spotted her sitting in her web and was able to run in and grab my cameraLighting
The lighting again was luck. As the setting Sun seemed to be shining directly on her providing me this perfect clarity for an amazing shot.Equipment
I use the Nikon d750 with a 55 to 200 millimeter lensInspiration
The spider itself inspired me. I got close to her plenty of times she could have left but instead she sat there patiently. I've never taken a full out by photo before so I felt this was the perfect opportunityEditing
Nothing more than basic edit color and white balance adjustmentsIn my camera bag
Iraq a pretty heavy Nikon gear setup. In my bag you'll find a flash I-35mm Prime my zoom lens and a 24 to 70 mm Workhorse lensFeedback
You've got to be willing to jump on the chance to photograph what you see it. Don't wait until the conditions are right just go grab your camera and start experimenting. If you see something you like frame it and photograph it. If you like it, there's a good chance others will like it too.
