Location
Driving in the countryside, I saw this water tower. I loved the rust on it, so I took the photo. The sky was also a beautiful color, which I thought complemented the tower.Time
Can’t remember the exact time of day, but I do believe it was around noon…because I remembered that was the time I was “taught” not to take photos. However I have taken many photos at the noon hour and have been very happy with them, as I was with this photo.Lighting
Just how I liked the “white” of the clouds against the “darkness” of the rust on the tower.Equipment
Canon T3i camera. No tripod, no flash.Inspiration
Only that the water tower caught my eye.Editing
I believe I “pushed” the saturation levels and reduced some shadowing. In my camera bag
Canon T3i and T6s camera bodies. An 18-135 mm Canon lens, a 75-300 mm Canon lens, a 60-600 mm Sigma lens, an 18-55 mm Canon lens, photo ball, polarizing filters on each lens, always extra batteries for both camera bodies, and extra SD cards.Feedback
Take multiple photos from different angles and aspects (locations around the item) if at all possible. I love taking photos from the bottom looking upwards at buildings and structures.
