Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Oslo, Norway. This building is in the area called "Barcode project". This project has some fancy buildings in it which actually can take attention of anyone.

Time

It was during evening I guess. Though the light does not tell the same right? Enjoyed the 20 hours of daylight in Oslo.

Lighting

Not an expert to give much details. What took my heart is the color of the building. It was amazing and the soft light created nice effect on it.

Equipment

My old model Nikon D3100 with kit lens 18-55 VR2.

Inspiration

I always love different architectural photos. The shape of buildings or parts of it. Tried to take something like this. Though I did not intend to take it exactly like this. But after taking the photo it looked like a way made of puzzle pieces.

Editing

Yes. I adjusted colors a bit, pushed up clarity a bit to make the bulding part sharper.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D3100, 18-55 VR2 kit lens and 50mm 1.8G prime lens. When going to long tour I also keep the tripod.

Feedback

Not much. What I do is taking a lot of shots and adjust bit by bit. The more you take the more you know about that particular scene. You can then have your desired photo.
