Behind The Lens

Location

In our home, in front of a bedroom window.

Time

This was taken around 3:30 PM when the sun shines directly through this south side window.

Lighting

The lighting was created by natural sunlight coming through the window and a sheet hung to create a silhouette styled photo.

Equipment

Tripod, Canon Rebel T6 with a 55mm 75-300 lens.

Inspiration

I was trying to track my pregnancy and see the growth of my baby in my belly. I decided that showing a silhouette was the best way to show each difference in my body and my muscles.

Editing

Just a few simple edits to darken the background and vignette to tone down the edges.

In my camera bag

Tripod, Canon DSLR, batteries, and 2 extra lenses

Feedback

Make sure your curtain is free of wrinkles or use a transparent sheet to get a better outcome. Don't give up and always shoot for the moon (:
