This was taken at the Western Wall located in the old city of Jerusalem. Being a holy place for one of the most important for three major religions: Christianity, Judaism and Muslim, thousands of people come here each year to see, touch and pray in front of the wall. People from all over the world travel here to leave hand-written prayers on scraps of paper and insert them in cracks in the Wall in the hope they will be answered by the divine resting in the Wall.
