nice! even if the bubble was planned it's not easy getting the framing and the timing right!

Location
I took this photo in Burgos, Spain when we were travelling to Portugal by car. After a long days ride we stopped to find a hotel and that's when I saw these street artists having fun with music and big soap bubbles.Time
It was at the end of the day when all people in Spain take to the streets, well dressed and cheerfull. The city comes to life with street artists, people are eating tapas, socialising and having fun. The best moment for Spanish street photography!Lighting
This photo was taken with indirect light, because the sun was very low at the horizon and reflected from the other side of the street creating a nice soft light without heavy shadows and highlights.Equipment
I wanted to capture this street artist with these wonderful big bubbles. It was just a lucky try, I took about 10 photo's without him noticing me, obviously without any extra equipment...Inspiration
I liked the emotions and expressions of this man playing his guitar and I was trying to capture a moment with the bubbles and the streetartist in one shot. I was sitting at a distance of some 7 meters, between the people walking in the street. My waiting was rewarded when I saw this great bubble made by his girl friend floating in the right direction and I was able to take a photo without people walking in front of my lens! Luck is our best friend...Editing
I didn't do much post-processing on this photo, I cropped it and played a bit with the colors in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
If you want to take a candid photo you have to be creative... look for a place to hide behind or when there is nowhere to hide; take it "from the hip" while you look the other side, not to attrack the attention of your subject. I always feel a little uncomfortable photographing people I don't know, so I try to take candid photos to avoid the eye contact. When you can't plan the framing, you always have to crop a blind shot, that's why you have to shoot a wider area then the result you want to achieve. The settings of your camera can be done by choosing another subject at the same distance and the same light intensity, nearby the subject you eventually want to shoot. In this case the hardest part was to wait for the moment the bubble was in the right place and then trying to take a photo without anyone walking in front of my lens because I was sitting in a crowded street, we all need some luck!
