Nice capture. At first glance it looked like a peaceful image. Then I noticed the wind!

Location
I was on a Family Vacation in Corolla Beach, North Carolina. We were on a remote part of the beach, where only 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles can get to it.Time
It was in the most terrible time to shoot. lol. Noonish. And I thought I wasn't going to end up with anything good.Lighting
I had a bare camera! I will say, in this particular shot, I was using a Tamron 70-300. It let less light in, than say my Canon 70-200 2.8 which is my everyday lens. So I think choosing this lens- even by an accident helped this image.Equipment
I was using my backup, which is a Canon 6D Full Frame Body--- Tamron 70-300 Zoom Lens. No flash- all natural light.Inspiration
I decided to travel in the Summer of 2016 to see the Wild Horses of the Eastern Coastline of the Atlantic. I'm a huge advocate against Horse Slaughter, so going somewhere where the horses are free to roam was my goal.Editing
I used Topaz and then I plopped in a sky from another image that I had taken. In my camera bag
My Normal is my Canon 5D Mark III, and I am usually armed with my Profoto B1 Airs, or my D1 Airs in my Studio. Profoto is Gold to me. Having a tool that is so amazing changes everything in the image.Feedback
Always have your camera. You do not know when you are going to come across something amazing. Even if it's your bare camera and no extra lighting, etc. God's Earth is so beautiful, and it shows its beauty when you least expect it.
