On a normal day, this waterfall is large, On the day I visited, it was an extremely rainy day and what normally is 4 steady large waterfalls at Milford Sounds, blossomed into several hundred waterfalls and the large ones into ginormous. It may not be evident but the ferry in the photo is about a mile from that waterfall and I am on another ferry even further--this was taken at no zoom with 100-400 mm lens at 100 mm during rain, mist, fog, and on a moving boat about a mile from the ferry. I hope you can see the magnitude of that waterfall.
