Behind The Lens

Location

I live in Kilmore East in Victoria and travel 50 klms west to Woodend frequently. I am secretary of the Woodend Art Group. On route I pass rolling hills, farm land, gracious gums, wineries and of course Hanging Rock (Mt Diogines} which featured in Peter Weir's film Picnic at Hanging Rock. I have painted scenes from the photographs I have taken in watercolour, silk paint and oil on many occasions. This photograph was taken along the Lancefield-Woodend Road.

Time

A morning shot.

Lighting

Not really

Equipment

Olympus

Inspiration

The photograph depicts the farmer's plight in preparing for winter. We live in a bushfire prone state and having your own feed is a bonus.

Editing

No

In my camera bag

Camera, telephoto lense. Tripod is used to hold a board for painting.

Feedback

Experiment.
