Behind The Lens

Location

In my studio :).

Time

In the morning

Lighting

For the light! I used an elinchrom Rx4 flash, positioned behind a cardboard box where I had cut a cross. The only light came from the flash, apart from a tiny bit of natural light from the windows, very light because of the bad weather.

Equipment

For camera: Nikon D810 Lens: Nikkor 18/55 F3.5 / 5.6 Flash: Elinchrome Rx4

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from Peter Coulson, and the problems with priests that exist in the Catholic Church.

Editing

For post-processing , As always, I start by correcting a few details with Ligtroom, and finish with Photoshop.

Feedback

The advice I always give is to take inspiration from great photographers. Get out of your comfort zone, work hard, break codes, but above all respect the people you're working with. No inappropriate gestures, always keep your distance. Because we're not here to ogle, to touch or anything else. Keep it professional. Too many people cross the line. I think it's important to remember that. And above all, stay humble :).
