Every year in winter, the Coquille Valley pastures in Southern Oregon fill up with rain water and create a winter lake. This morning, it was very foggy, and I saw these six birds lined up just perfectly, and the golden reeds behind them disappeared into the fog, creating a very soft and minimalistic image.
