I was planning to shooto with Ilaria from many times, but every time something appened and we have to re-planning. Finally, some weeks ago we was able to shoot in my studio, in Parma (IT)Time
We took this in the afternoon, and this is the final look of the day.Lighting
I wanted a very soft and directional light so I put a strip box very close to the wall, I love the shadows of this image, because i wanted a big open shadow near her.Equipment
I shoot this with my usual setup. Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark 2 and my 45mm f/1.2 (that's a90mm on my format m4/3). the flash fas in a stripbox, a Godox SK300IIInspiration
her look... her clothes. I wanted to do something like "street style" so I decided to use the wall as background. I ask her to stay close to the wall as if she was outside.Editing
Yes of course. something in the skin, and contrast adjust with multiple layers and mask (photoshop) and a monochrome grain to finishIn my camera bag
I normally use two camera bodies (EM1 mark 2 and Em1X by Olympus) and 4 fixed lens (17-25-45-75mm) all to multiply x2 in micro4/3 worls. i always has a flash with trigger and two zoom but I don't often use themFeedback
Look at all you like around you (papers, magazine, tv series, etc...) and try to imagine what's the beast situation for your subject. I like simpe shoot and simple situation, beacuse i want to concetrate all the "focus" on my subjetc.
