Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the eastern corner of the The Forbidden City, Beijing, China.

Time

I've set up and wait for the sunset.

Lighting

I don't know if the colours were popped up by the polluted atmosphere in China but they were amazing. I use to try the photo with my phone and the results were the same purplish cast.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D810 with the 16-35mm with a mini tripod and a wireless trigger.

Inspiration

The place itself.

Editing

As I had to exposure for the highlights I had to bring back the shadows and some cleaning to some stuffs in the water.

In my camera bag

A Nikon D810, a Nikon 16-35mm f4 and some accessories.

Feedback

Easy place to find and don't need a big tripod for this. Arrive as sooner as possible because there are a lot of photographers there and you may miss the spot.
