Location
This picture was take in an apartment in Montreal. The bedroom was pretty small and I had climb on a small chest to get the angle and the space to get this view.Time
I was in the morning, beginning of the summer. I had few hours to spend with Kaitlin.Lighting
This shot is a mixture of natural light coming from a large window with a blind. I added a flash to help keeping a low ISO and to freeze the image since I had low shutter speed to get the tungsten light on the table giving some ambriance.Equipment
Hand-held Nikon D5100, a flash with a small lightbox.Inspiration
The bed itself with the bedhead brass with the large mirror on the wall want providing a lot of possibilities. We did several variation, standing in the bed, against the window light, etc. This one belongs to an interesting series of 3-4 shots, sit in the bed with nice peaceful poses. I like the light change, from the natural light in front of the model, the shadow on her back and the yellowish on the left.Editing
Obviously yes, the post-processing here is mainly to give some ambiance, washing away the colors. In my camera bag
My camera, three lens, flashes and remote triggers.Feedback
Experiement with low shutter speed, to capture the available light in this kind of situation.
