One part of the monument, the wall, was originally dedicated in 1998 with 17 names. It now lists names of 25 Atlantic City trades workers killed on the job since 1977. The 8-foot bronze statue of a construction worker was unveiled before over 2,000 workers on Workers Memorial Day, April 28, 2004.
